Somehow life has played a cruel joke in that I (who could sleep thru a hurricane... and probably will) wake up and get ready for work earlier than kj (who stirs around if you so much as adjust your pinky toe in the middle of the night). So this morning as I was tiptoe-ing around I realized that it's pointless! It's not me that's denying him that sweet REM level of unconsciousness, it's our carpet. go figure!
