Okay so I don't have a ton of tv shows that I watch. Pretty much it's just:
1) Girlfriends
2) One Tree Hill
3) Grey's Anatomy
4) America's Next Top Model
5) Lost
Those are the one's that I'm almost sick if I miss an episode (esp. Grey's. Thank goodness for the online full episode thing. And what do you all think about Burke {Isiah Washington} being taken off the show????)
Anyway since my regulars are all finished with new episodes for the season, I'm branching out and seeing what some other shows are about. The 2 new ones I'm testing are: Army Wives and House of Payne.
Let's start with Army Wives. I like it. It's a little dramatic, but it's Lifetime. I'm happy with the story line and anxious to see what goes on with the characters. Have you seen it?
Ummm, House of Payne... Was anyone else thinking that those first two episodes would be the last?
I'm sorry, but they just weren't good. Not funny. Not like a sitcom, but a rushed play. So this week we gave it another try. I watched the 3rd one (still not funny and I think Allen Payne may be getting on my nerves...) and fell asleep on the 4th (b/c you know right now they're doing those back to back episodes). Kj promises that the 4th got a little better, I'll have to rewatch it and see.
So for now I'm recommending Army Wives, but I may be pulling the plug on House of Payne (sorry Tyler Perry.) Do you have any shows that you watch that I should get in on (if not then it's Army Wives and reruns of the above that will fill my lovely DVR Thursdays. I tape all my shows and watch them on Thurs nite when KJ gets his hair cut so that I'm not swayed by his that doesn't make sense, what's wrong with her, that's not realistic, sarcasm...he's such a boy... hehehe)?

I've seen the ads for Army Wives, and it looks great! I haven't managed to catch an episode yet, but I can't wait til Big Brother. That is my summer show! Don't know if you're into the reality seen, but if you're willing to try anything you might want to give it a look! I'm a sucker for reality TV! I know, it's my downfall!
hi girlie! mon nights have a new series for ex wives- actually forgot the name and possibly the day. but anywhoo, i heard it was good so check it out!!! also i agree with u on house of payne. i only like it when brown is on it and sometimes madea, but i don't like the main character(s)... they try too hard to be funny!
If it helps, the only reason I am holding on to The House of Payne is because I have been told that the wife is on crack and she is the one that burned the house down. I assume that the show will be interesting afterwards. However, I did miss last week's episodes. Yeah, I am with you, Roz, I am disappointed as well.
OMG, I looooove Girlfriends and Greys....Bryan has been staying up till 2-3 in the morning catching up on all the Lost episodes. I have to catch up to him. Army wives is great, I looove it. I have to keep watching out for it,I can never pin it's regular air time down. I heard teh same things abour teh house of Payne. I have no motivation to watch it and it's on my DVR . I think I saw like the first 3 min. on one epi. and just turned it off. I've just been opening books and getting my read on these days, hoping by the end of the summer I'll have read 3 books a month.
Ohh, Tasha, I think you hit on something there. I've been trying to read more also. Whatcha reading? I'd love to know so maybe we could discuss. Any one else have some book suggestions? I'm pretty much a reader of anything...
