In theory, this is the time that I need to leave the house in order to get to work on time (I sit in front of the local elementary school for apprx 12 min...) Some mornings I do better than others. I TRY every morning. Shouldn't a job give you credit for trying?! I tell you, when I worked for myself, time was never an issue. hehehe I was always on time b/c I knew what I needed to do and how long it would take me and that when I finished, I'd be free to go. sigh. Such a wonderful concept...
So, I've decided that "in theory" may be my motto. A lot of things work out wonderfully in theory, but when you throw real life in the mix, well, you're almost guaranteed to get a different situation/product/answer/time etc. I've decided that I may need to be more considerate of the "in theory recalls" and realize that some pep just won't be as considerate of my "in theory" moments. Plain and simple.
Oh and I wasn't late for work this morn. Yesterday I was...
Now that I've cleared my mind of that thought: Weekend update.
The sushi was wonderful. Small compared to our regular restaurant, but Camille's had a nice atmosphere. We decided to mark it as a place to entertain those who visit.
The movie was powerful. I have a newly discovered love for movies that kind of act as a public awareness/call to action. Catch a fire is about apartheid in South Africa and although some of the characters are underdeveloped, I still left the theater with the feeling of 1) what a blessing it is to live in the US 2) that I've got to do something more to impact/better the lives of others (I'm thinking that I might become a marathon walker...) and 3) that I've got to become more aware of wordly issues. Being naive is not cute. City of God is another movie that I found to be moving. I highly recommend both!
I didn't get to plant anything (didn't even get close to happening), and I was only able to mat and frame 1.5 of my photography projects. One I had hanging on the wall and after Kj's critique, it came off for "revisions". LOL. I believe I've created a artistically opinionated monster... I didn't even look at a paint brush, so that goes back on my MUST DO before 07 list. ;-)
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I'm off to see if I can vote in FL. Yes, I'm fully aware that this is something I should have checked on earlier, but just count it as an "in theory" recall. (In theory, you should be able to use your social to use your one vote anywhere in the country...)
Happy Tuesday!
