What?! No one told me that this week was lawn critique week!!! LOL! Seriously, we know that our little crunchy patches of grass aren't doing so hot at the moment, but I'd also like to point out that hellllooooo, it's Autumn, and in almost every state but this one, there's some evidence of that. Rustling orange tree leaves, cool air, dead grass... you get my point. I don't know if palm tree leaves even change color and just how are we even suppose to make grass grow in sand???? Can I get some real dirt please?!?!?
This made me feel like someone had found a picture of us and circled with a red marker all the areas that "need improvement". Creative criticism my bootie! And we don't need someone to point out to us that yes, our neighbors on both sides have traded their souls to the sod devil for luscious kelly green grass in the MIDDLE OF OCTOBER. sheesh.
So Mr. Lawn Critique Man, yes, we are very well aware that our grass is going thru some issues, but leave us alone! We're just fine with the grass being greener on the other side.
Happy Thursday ALL!
:-D

Oh, I would have cried! You know I don't take criticism well. I'm sure your grass looks fine. They just want to hurt your feelings into paying 90 dollars a month for lawncare. :)
I don't know Roz... Considering that I am the person who dreads pulling into the driveway to realize that my [retired] neighbors on each side have nicely manicured yards and due to my fear of having the ugly yard on the block, I would be calling them back and inquiring about their winter specials :). (I guess one treatment wouldn't hurt.)
Colleen, only $90 a month! I will need a name and number for future references!! But yeah, that is expensive too.
I get fliers all of the time left on my door for lawn maintenance and tree trimming. Never a critique. That tells me they spent waaaay too much time on your property...Even 1 minute is too much. I say, if my lawn or over grown tree is bothering you to the point you feel the need to take the time out and critique it....by all means please feel free to maintain it and trim at your will!!! Leave me and your feelings about MY lawn out of it, LOL.
