Happy Day of Looovvveee! Last night I stopped by Walmart for a can of navy beans (to make more refried beans to finish off the leftover chicken), and it was jam pack full of people getting candy, flowers, large stuffed animals, balloons filled with goodies, etc. KJ and I don't do V-day that way, and I'm so thankful. We try to keep it small being that we just had an anniversary and the day of love is more about thoughtfulness to us. His gift: Turkey and dressing for dinner and some much needed pairs of jeans (which he still needs to order...) My gift: Yankee Candles! I'm a candle phen an go thru them like nobody's business. I seriously have a candle budget. So I've been down to 1 big candle and a few smaller ones, but KJ saw fit to surprise me and replenish my stash. Couldn't have picked a more perfect gift myself.
Oh and last night at church a little boy came up to me on our way into class (he's 6, so not in my class) and handed me a handmade valentine. Then he smiled his little gap tooth grin and said, "I spelled your name wrong..." hehehe He's too cute and for him, I'll be Sis Roe on the day of lovin.
So hope you're feeling the general kindness that's floating around today!
Happy Thursday!
